Co-producing between France and Africa

A France–Africa co-production rests on a precise contractual framework and on public schemes whose rules are published.

The contractual framework

Co-production agreement, split of contributions and revenues, definition of territories, delivery and rights clearance responsibilities: these points are settled before shooting.

How the work qualifies under national schemes depends directly on these choices.

Practical organisation

Shooting permits, insurance, transport and logistics, production management, social obligations: these must be budgeted on verified local information, not generic estimates.

AFRIK'ART FILMS works with local partners identified project by project.
